Two teenagers arrested after two people were stabbed in a Somerset town, have been released on conditional bail.

A man in his 50s and a teenage boy suffered non-life threatening injuries in the assault in Raglan Terrace, Yeovil, at around 15:30 GMT on Wednesday.

A 15-year-old boy and a 16-year-old boy arrested on suspicion of affray have since been released.

Avon and Somerset Police said the “investigation is ongoing”, along with high-visibility patrols in the area.

The 15-year-old boy was also arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent, while the 16-year-old was also arrested on suspicion of possessing a knife in a public place.

Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses and is urging anyone with relevant footage or information to contact them.
