Train services between the West and London on Sunday have been disrupted due to staff shortages.

Great Western Railway (GWR) confirmed a lack of train crews meant several services between Bristol Temple Meads and London Paddington were cancelled.

GWR added that trains which do run will be “extremely busy” and are likely to take longer than normal, adding that customers due to travel on Sunday can postpone their journeys.

The BBC has approached GWR for further comment.
