Charlie Hockin Weekend Warm-up
Charlie moved to North Somerset aged 10 and (after blagging his way through several years at Churchill Academy) can now be found in front of a microphone, performing onstage or tucked away in a country pub working his way through a pint and an arrow word puzzle.
His radio “career” started in Weston General Hospital on Sunshine Radio, appearing since on other stations such as Pulse and Sedgemoor FM, and has treaded the boards in local venues such as The Playhouse and Blakehay Theatre. He’s also proud to have set up a theatre group which specialises in adult pantomimes (…very highbrow!), with all money raised going to local charities and groups.
