Ross Marchant
Sunday Afternoons
Hi I am Ross, born and bred here in the West Country and extremely passionate about good music and radio.
My passion for broadcasting started as a child and I even did my school work-experience at BBC Somerset. As soon as I was old enough I got involved with the hospital radio service in Taunton where I finally started broadcasting.
Over two and a half decades later and I am still just as passionate about radio. Over the years I have been lucky enough to be involved with a number of radio stations including Somerset’s Orchard FM and North Somerset’s GWR FM (based in Bristol at the time). I am also a presenter on Taunton’s Apple FM and have previously been programme controller for the station.
I love music and the West Country and therefore I love broadcasting to the wonderful local people and many tourists that visit the area. I look forward to talking to you on DH One.
