What are the current and future skills needs of employers in the West of England?

In partnership with the West of England LEP, Skills West, at Business West, has been working with businesses in the region to understand the skills and training needs across all sectors now and for the next generation.

All providers of education or learning are welcome to join us at Weston College, where we will be presenting an overview of our findings and disseminating our Local Sector Skills Statements, with a focus on the Health and Life Sciences and Professional and Financial Services sectors.

You’ll gain up-to-date information to share with your teams, or individuals you work with, to help shape your organisation’s future thinking and planning over the next year.

You’ll hear from Weston College on their provision and what exciting plans are developing for 2019. You will also receive a copy of the 12 Local Sector Skills Statements and have the chance to find out;

• What the skills needs and challenges are for the region

• What curriculum and careers advice support is out there

• How the education landscape is responding

• How the business landscape is responding

• Opportunity to network with the local education providers/careers/advice support organisations
