Louis Schreuder has scored one try for Bath this season, away to Leicester Tigers on New Year’s Eve

Scrum-half Louis Schreuder has signed a contract extension at Bath until 2025.

He becomes the ninth player to commit their future to the club in the past two weeks.

The South African joined the Blue, Black and Whites from Newcastle Falcons in 2022 and has made 30 appearances for the club. His contract was due to expire at the end of the season.

The 33-year-old has scored one try this season, with the team currently third in the Premiership.

“I’m thrilled to have signed a new contract with Bath Rugby,” he said.

“I’ve loved every moment of my journey with the club so far.

“I’m surrounded by an amazing coaching team, staff and team-mates, and our fans are the best.

“I am looking forward to seeing what the next year will bring.”

Will Stuart, Will Muir, Max Ojomoh, Cameron Redpath, Archie Griffin, Charlie Ewels, Niall Annett and Sam Harris have all signed contract extensions since 23 January.

Bath are level on points with second-placed Harlequins on 37 and will face Exeter Chiefs in the round of 16 of the Champions Cup.
