Joe Cokanasiga made his international debut in November 2018 after joining Bath from London Irish that summer

Bath winger Joe Cokanasiga faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines after returning from England’s World Cup campaign with a serious knee injury.

The 22-year-old only featured once for Eddie Jones’ side in Japan.

Cokanasiga started the pool stage win over the United States, scoring two tries as he played the full match.

Two more men have been arrested by police investigating reports of racist abuse in October’s FA Cup game between Haringey Borough and Yeovil Town.

The arrests of a 17 and 27-year-old come after two other men, aged 23 and 26, were arrested in Somerset – in Chard and Yeovil – on 21 October.

Penalty shootout English record: Taunton beat Truro in 34-kick marathon

A non-league cup match has equalled the record for the longest penalty shootout in English football.

Taunton Town and Truro City needed 34 spot-kicks to separate them after drawing 2-2 in the Southern League Challenge Cup second round.

They equalled the record set in an EFL Trophy match between Chelsea’s under-23 side and Oxford United in 2016.

Lorry gets stuck in narrow Somerset lane

A lorry driver has been left in a pickle after getting his lorry wedged between two buildings in Somerset.

The vehicle became stuck after getting lost on narrow lanes in Croscombe near Wells.

The lorry currently can’t reverse or drive out of the lane and has been trapped in the area for almost 24 hours. It has been reported the driver ignored warning signs due to following a satnav.
